Finally, my exile is over. Finally, we’re on the road again. Daddy left but Barbara stayed so Mommy and I aren’t too lonely. Finally, I can start doing what I do best – traveling with Mommy and being Belle the Missionary Dog.
I had to stay in the camper by myself for 7 long days. It was hard but necessary. I realize now that if I had gone with Mommy, the mission would have been compromised. Part of being Belle the Missionary Dog is the willingness to do what God and Mommy says to do. Sometimes, I have to let others be the center of attention.
I confess that I like being the one everyone notices first. Being the most popular person in the room just comes naturally for me. I used to feel guilty about enjoying it so much but I got over that. After all, I make people smile and smiling makes people happy. Besides, God made me this way and said it was good. I can’t help it that I’m so cute. Cuteness is my special gift. I’m just glad that I finally get to use it again.
