The new blog needed a name. Somehow, Divine Encounters While Living In a Hotel just didn’t work. Besides, the Bible word for hotel is Inn. There is even a precedent for using an Inn for ministry. Just ask the Good Samaritan.
My creative juices were dry so I asked my Facebook friends for help. I had over 40 amazing suggestions. I narrowed it down to 7 potential names and put those out on Facebook for a vote.
The vote was clear. It wasn’t even close. INNCounters, submitted by my best friend, Nancy Edwards, won by a landslide. When I saw who suggested it, it occurred to me that I should have just picked up the phone and asked Nancy for a suggestion. When I told her that, she said that is was actually the Facebook post before hers, Inn Jesus’s Name, suggested by another friend, Carol Ann Para, that gave her the idea. Good team work Nancy and Carol Ann. I’ll have to introduce you sometime.
