Prayer Request - Brenda
I met Kevin at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. He is deeply committed to Christ and knows God has called him to be a Minister with youth. He says that he enjoys talking and working with youth. He says that many of them need help dealing with troubled home situations. He believes youth ministry is more critical now than ever before. His eyes are bright with hope and enthusiasm as he talked.
Kevin accepted Christ when he was 15. He did not grow up in a Christian home. Friends invited him to church and he became a Christian. That was seven years ago.
After Kevin accepted Christ, he helped lead his father to Christ. His mother, Brenda, does not believe in Christ.
This young man has dedicated his life to Christian service. He is just beginning his formal seminary training. His mother’s spiritual condition is a burden. He has shared his faith with her. He prays for her.
Please pray for Brenda. Pray that she will feel the need for the love and peace of Jesus Christ in her life. Please pray for Kevin's ministry. Thank God for the people that are willing to spend their lives helping our youth.
