Prayer Request: Kellie
A young woman named Kellie is due to deliver her first child in November. She did not believe she was able to get pregnant and is thrilled with the pregnancy.
Unfortunately, just before she became pregnant, she had a severe form of adenoids cancer. They did extensive surgery on her mouth. She lost all of her teeth and much of the inside of mouth. The doctors think they got all of the cancer but this form has a high rate of reoccurrence. Reoccurrence is very serious. She went through extensive radiation and was supposed to get regular tests to make sure the cancer was truly gone.
She became pregnant only two weeks after stopping the radiation. She was surprised but happy. There were concerns about the baby because of the cancer treatments. To date, no difficulties have shown up in sonograms.
Because of the pregnancy, Kellie has been unwilling to be tested for a reoccurrence of the cancer. Naturally, everyone is concerned. Kellie’s mother asks for your prayers. Please honor this Christian woman’s faith. She asks that you be specific and use Kellie’s name.
Pray for Kellie to be cancer free and be able to enjoy her child.
Pray that her precious baby will be healthy and undamaged by the trauma to Kellie’s body.
Pray that Kellie will be able to adjust to the changes in her body and accept what has happened to her.
Pray that she will be a Godly mother and have wisdom as she parents.
Thank God for what he is doing in Kellie’s life.
