What is Your Concept of God?
1. There is no such thing as a person without a god.
2. People become like their concept of God.
a. Example: If your god is money, your life will begin to revolve around material possessions.
b. Example: If your god is judgmental, you will become judgmental.
c. Example: If your god is punishing, you will begin to punish.
d. Example: If your god is a substance like food, alcohol, or drugs, your life and body will become sloppy, sick, depressed, and out of control.
e. Example: If your God is loving, you will become loving.
f. Example: If your God is faithful, you will become faithful.
g. Example: If your God is mighty, you will become mighty.
h. Example: If you God is peaceful, you will become peaceful.
3. If you or your life needs improvement, seek a better concept of God.
Isaiah 9:6
And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.
