Biblical Tips About Relationships
“Smooze” With The Truth

Go out of your way to give verbal affirmations.

Unfortunately, verbal affirmations have taken on a negative connotation in our society. Satan has sent us words like “brown nose” or “suck up” to try to keep us from following God’s instructions for having good relationships. In my former company, when management said nice things to the client, the employees called it “Smoozing.” I would always retort, “Smoozing works. Just make sure you always “smooze” with the truth.”

Take a clue from King Solomon’s queen in Solomon 1:2-4. Ignore Satan and brag on the people around you.

Song 1:2-4 (NIV)
Let him kiss me with the kisses of his mouth- for your love is more delightful than wine. Pleasing is the fragrance of your perfumes; your name is like perfume poured out. No wonder the maidens love you! Take me away with you-let us hurry! Let the king bring me into his chambers.

“Smooze” with the truth.

For today, go out of your way to say every “sappy” and “sticky sweet” thing that is relevant to a situation. Spend your day giving positive affirmations. You will be amazed at the results.
