How Did That Happen?

Travel Tidbit - How Did That Happen?
When you own a camper, a stopper for the sink is important because you don’t want food or debris going into your grey water tank. Bob spent 4th of July weekend with me. The camper is comfortable for one and crowded for 2 so we were constantly having collisions and losing stuff.
On day 2 of the weekend, the sink stopper disappeared. “Where is the stopper?” Bob asked.
“It was just there,” I said. “It saw it when I cleaned up from lunch.”
“Well, it’s not here now.”
“Don’t worry, it’ll turn up,” I soothed.
On day 3, we were getting worried. “Where can it be,” I fretted, having lost my confidence from the day before. “What if I threw it away while I was cleaning yesterday? I think I saw sink stoppers in camp stores so we maybe we can buy another one.”
On day 4, we opened the jar of peanut butter. There, in the jar, was the sink stopper. “How did that happen?” I pondered.
“I don’t know but I don’t eat peanut butter,” Bob said defensively.
“Should we throw away the peanut butter?” I asked, wondering what else was on that stopper.
“Absolutely not,” frugal Bob insisted. “Take a spoon and scrape off the top.”
The sink stopper in the peanut butter jar is a mystery never to be solved but at least we found it. I wondered if I should call all my friends together and rejoice.
Luke 15:8-10 Or what woman, if she has ten silver coins and loses one coin, does not light a lamp and sweep the house and search carefully until she finds it? "When she has found it, she calls together her friends and neighbors, saying, 'Rejoice with me, for I have found the coin which I had lost!' "In the same way, I tell you, there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner who repents." NASU
