Quick Tips: Truths

Quick Tips: Truths

1. Jesus notices me – no matter how I feel.
2. Jesus affirms me – no matter what others say about me.
3. Jesus wants me – no matter what I’ve done.

Hagar – A woman who feels betrayed, alone, and unwanted.

Gen 21:16-18 (NIV)
And as she sat there nearby, she began to sob. God heard the boy crying, and the angel of God called to Hagar from heaven and said to her, "What is the matter, Hagar? Do not be afraid; God has heard the boy crying as he lies there. Lift the boy up and take him by the hand, for I will make him into a great nation."

Paul – A man who knows that God’s affirmation is the only one that matters.

1 Corinthians 4:3-4 (NIV)
I care very little if I am judged by you or by any human court; indeed, I do not even judge myself. My conscience is clear, but that does not make me innocent. It is the Lord who judges me.
